Requirements For Mentees

  • Member of ECEW
  • Must submit an Application Form

Requirements For Mentors

  • A woman who is currently working in any field in management
  • At least 5 years of work experience
  • Able to commit for 6 months

Pairing

We will attempt to pair the mentee with a mentor from a relevant field of work. If we are not able to make a mentee/mentor match immediately, we will actively attempt to recruit a mentor who is a good fit.

Time Commitment

Mentors and mentees commit for a period of 6 months from the initial match. Over the course of the year, we ask the Mentor to meet FACE to FACE w/ the Mentee at least once a month for one hour at an agreed upon location. We strongly encourage that you meet face-to-face as often as possible and for the first two meetings and follow up w/ phone calls and/or emails.

All new mentees and mentors will be asked to attend two mandatory orientation sessions in November. You will be introduced to each other at the second orientation session.

Applications for the 2011-2012 Mentorship Program will be available soon. If you are interested in being a mentee, please submit a completed application and business bio to contactus@bravasc.com by September 30, 2011. Once your application is received, you will be asked to meet with the VP, Mentorship Program for a brief interview, which will help ensure the best possible pairing for your field and interests.
